Kalpavriksham Trust, in collaboration with Privaram Cancer Hospital, conducted a Cancer Awareness Talk at Mangalam College of Arts & Sciences, Thirumullaivoyal, Chennai. The session reached 103 students and 8 staff members, benefiting a total of 111 participants. The program focused on early detection and women’s health, highlighting the importance of mammograms, Pap smear tests, and the HPV vaccine. Participants were guided through key topics including cancer risk factors, screening procedures, and the benefits of timely diagnosis. The speaker emphasized proactive health practices and explained how preventive screenings play a crucial role in reducing cancer risk and improving outcomes. The session aimed to create a lasting impact by raising awareness, promoting early detection, and empowering the community to make informed health decisions.
